The Foundling Museum is a dramatic venue in the tranquil heart of Bloomsbury. With a unique combination of classical and contemporary spaces, the museum offers an adaptable setting for a wide variety of events, from launches, seminars and receptions, to formal and informal dinners; an ideal venue for exclusive entertaining.

Recently renovated galleries and facilities celebrate the history of the Foundling Hospital: the country's first home for abandoned children, as well as London's first public art gallery. The institution was established in 1739 by Thomas Coram, with the support of the country's leading artists such Hogarth, Gainsborough and Reynolds, as well as that of the composer George Frederic Handel.

As a venue, the museum contrasts modern galleries and reception areas, with elegant 18th century interiors. Whether it is the light, spacious style of the Picture Gallery for dinners for up to 100 people, or the intimacy and baroque grandeur of the Court Room - perfect for up to 30 diners - the Foundling Museum presents an ideal backdrop for most events.
