At a time when every charity must be finding it difficult to raise much needed funds for their own very worthwhile causes, we at the AC are conscious that every penny not spent on entertaining, means that there is more that can be used to benefit those most in need of help. Events are of course a vital source of charity income, and hitting the right note of understated value for money, mixed with a unique style to make the charities event stand out from all the others is difficult. Over the years we have been involved with hundreds of different charity fund raisers, some large and glittering like ARK, others discrete like The Princes Trust and some small, helping targeted groups of homeless men and women in London. For every charity we have contributed by lending some of the wonderful decorations in our warehouse to make their evening extra special. We have also created imaginative, sensibly priced menus which are then served on the AC’s wonderful china. Often Charities supply their own wines and we do not charge corkage and we try where possible to help with drinks sponsorship. The icing on the cake is that we offer a charity discount on a sliding scale depending on each event. Much as we would like to, we can’t help every good cause, but we are always open to discussion.
